M. Steinert & Sons Chinese New Year Concert Features Talented Young Pianist

Boston, Feb. 25, 2015, — Join M. Steinert & Sons in the Natick Mall concert hall as we celebrate the Chinese New Year with a special recital headlined by three of the Boston area’s rising pianists, as well as other stars who will be playing throughout the day. The program features three of the most talented young pianists in the state.

Aru1a Larsen, age 14, started playing piano when she was three. She is an aluou1a of the Lang Lang international Music Foundation, has been featured on Oprah, and is an ASC. Award winiing composer. At the age of 10, Aru1a recorded Bach’s Preludes and Fugues and has just released Boundless, featuring Chopin Etudes, Op. 25, and l -iszt. She now studies with Alexa11der Korsa11tia.

Fifteen year old Kevin 01en is a resident of Andover, Mass., where he is a student at Andover High School. Kevin has been playing piano for eight years and is currently studying under Mila Filatova of Manchester, NH. He is a 2014 Steinway Competition winner.

Katherine E. Liu s tarted her pia_no lessons with her mother, Dr. 1cruang, at age of three. In 2014, she ‘von 1st place for both Stein,vay Piano Competition and the Bay
State Piano Competition. Katherine vvas invited to performat Boston Symphony Hall for the Cartoon Festival and the Award Ceremony in 2014. Currently she is a student of Ms. Dorothy Shi.
