State Rep. Tackey Chan Kicks off Reelection Campaign

Quincy, Mass., March 12, 2015, — State Representative Tackey Chan (D-Quincy) of the Second Norfolk District held his campaign kickoff fundraiser at The Fours Restaurant in Quincy on March 10. Over 200 people attended the event.

Chan, a Democrat and City of Quincy native, talked about the importance of helping people through public service. “I ran for state representative to help people and I will continue to do so,” said Chan.

Several prominent political figures came to show their support, including Congressman Stephen Lynch (D-Boston), House Majority Leader Ronald Mariano (D-Quincy), House Assistant Majority Leader Paul Donato (D-Medford), Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey (D-Quincy), State Representative Bruce Ayers (D-Quincy) and State Senator John Keenan(D-Quincy).

The Second Norfolk District is composed of 13 out of 30 precincts in Quincy, which are the neighborhoods of Houghs Neck, Adam Shore, Germantown, Merrymount, Wollaston, Quincy Center, Hospital Hill, Brewer’s Corner and West Quincy.
