The Story Behind Your Short Film Tour

Five years ago, being Chinese film students in the US themselves, founders of EnMaze Pictures realized the enormous potential of a community and the common dilemma they’re facing: in the past ten years, film schools in North America that have trained the backbones of today’s Hollywood also cultivated a generation of Chinese student equipped with strong professional skills. However, unlike their fellow American schoolmates who often find paths in Hollywood industry, Chinese film student often have difficulty beginning their career in the film due to their in-between status as an oversea student away from home. This distance limits the change of young filmmakers to exhibit their talents and it is also a great loss for Chinese film industry that is in need of talents who can create universal contents.

Through various events in major US and Chinese cities, Short Film Tour has been supporting young filmmakers to jumpstart their careers.
