Yuchen Cui Wins Miss International Fashion Travel Pageant Boston

Boston, July 10, 2018, — Miss International Fashion Travel Pageant Boston regional final was held at the Empire Garden Restaurant in Boston Chinatown on July 7. Ten contestants showed their wisdom and beauty to nearly 500 guests in the Qipao, swimsuit and self-introduction, talent show, and Q&A in evening gowns during the contest.

Xingyu Culture, Boston International Media Consulting and Huaxing Art Troupe teamed up again to bring this event to Boston, it was exclusively sponsored by Yijia International.

The judges of this competition include famous conductor Wanjun Qiao art director and dancer Lucia Liu, Miss Philippines winner Rita Thorne, dancer Siwen Jiang and violinist Yongxiang Ren. Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn presented a citation on behalf of Boston City Council and congratulated the organizers of the contest. Former CCBA-NE President Hung Goon brought presented a citation from Secretary of the State Bill Galvin to Yijia International for its contribution to the success of this event.

Most of the 10 contestants are Chinese students, with the youngest contestant being a high school student in local area. Many contestants expressed their passion for charity activities in their self-introduction and during the Q&A session, hoping to make society more fair and beautiful through their own efforts.

After fierce competition and careful evaluation by the judges, first award of the night went to Judy Li as she was selected as Yijia International Ambassador. Heng Liu from Wellesley College won the Miss Photogenic award, Yingxi Wang won the Miss Goodwill award, Yixiao Zhang from Cornell University won the Best Talent Award, Yang Jin won the Miss Popularity Award, Fan Yi of Northeastern University won the Stage Vitality Award, and Wei Liu of Hult International Business School won the Most Fashionable Award.

With a lot of excitement and anticipation, event host Daryl Luk announced the top three finishers: 2nd runner-up Jieru Xu of Northeastern University, 1st runner-up Xiaowan Yan of Shanghai Theater Academy, and winner of this event Yuchen Cui.
