The 8th Asian American Festival to Take Over Boston Common on Sept. 9

Boston, August 10, 2018, — To celebrate cultural diversity and community dynamism, the 8th Asian American Festival will take place in Boston Common on Sept. 9, 2018.

Governor Baker declares Sept. 9, 2018 as Asian American Day in MA.

With the resolution of Boston City Council and the proclamation of Governor Baker and Mayor Walsh, Asian American Day has become an official holiday which is celebrated on the second Saturday of September every year.

Collaborating with over fifteen regional ethnical groups, we celebrated the 7th Asian American Festital in Boston Common in 2017, which attracted over 35,000 people. bostonese.com has been a proud media partner of Asian American Festival since 2012.

As we greet the 8th Asian American Festival and the 3rd Asian American Day, we feature the theme of BOUNDLESSNESS and symbolize endless possibilities and limitless boundaries. More information on aadayboston.org.

The Festival will run through August 2018 to September 2018 and contain three sections:

∞ Cocktail Reception on August 24th, 2018 (A private event hosted on Odyssey Cruise Boston)
∞ Asian American Day Gala on September 9th, 2018 (A free public event hosted on Boston Common)
∞ Asian American Cultural Concert on September 22nd, 2018 (A high-quality gala performance)
