华中科技大学光电子博士秦宗，日前向记者展示了他9年拍摄的1万多张特别照片：火车。照片涵盖几乎所有武汉这些年已消失和新出现的32种火车，包括15种机车、13种动车组以及多种普通机辆式（如绿皮火车）﹔涉及京广普线、武广高铁、合武客专等武汉8条客运线，甚至武钢线、富士康专线等武汉货运线，以及三大站到流芳站、何刘站、滠口、江岸西、汉口动车所等小站，无一遗漏。
不久前，他精选了一组照片发到世界最大的图片网站Flickr，立即成为网站最受欢迎的照片。有外国网友惊叹：“没想到中国武汉也有这么现代、这么漂亮的列车！”
