美国的医疗投资和水平是许多其他国家无法相比的。居住在麻州的居民更受益于全民健保政。但由于语言障碍和对美国现有的医疗体系不了解等原因，很多居住在美国的中国人感觉在美国看病有困难，和医生交流不通畅。

为了给大家提供用中文与各科医生交流的机会和普及医学知识，北美中华医学会（ACMA) 的医学专家们将于2016年5月21日下午1:30 PM 在Lexington图书馆举办医学讲座。

这是继去年和前年，北美中华医学会再次在Lexington 举办的一次社区服务活动。 专家们将用中文讲解专题. 能说中英文的专家们来自普通内科, 外科, 心脏内科，神经内科，消化科，精神科,内分泌科等。各科专家还将为大家提供免费健康咨询。

现场有志愿者提供免费血压，血糖测量，并根据美国心脏学会(American Heart Association）2013的标准为大家评算10年内心肌梗塞和中风的发病几率。

(风险评估需要总血脂和HDL血脂检查结果)。

ACMA will host a community health education event in Lexington, MA on May 21, 2016

ACMA will host a community health education event on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Lexington public library. Mini-medical education sessions and free medical consultation will be provided by bilingual (Mandarin and English) physicians and other health care professionals from various medical specialties including primary care, cardiology, surgery, pediatrics, endocrinology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, psychiatry, pharmacy and more. Please bring your family members and friends to the event!

We had successful community health education and free medical consultation events two years in a row in Lexington, MA. In response to the request from Lexington residents and partner organizations, ACMA will return to Lexington and host this community health education event
