New England Chinese Information and Networking Association (NECINA)’s 2012 annual meeting was held June 2 at Radisson Hotel in Chelmsford, Mass. The year’s annual meeting featured exceptional experts in the IT field, and provided great networking opportunities for its attendees. Dr. Mingsheng Hong was elected to be the new president of NECINA at the annual meeting, succeeding current president Sean Shen.
IEEE President Peter Staecker gave an overview of today’s IEEE, the world’s largest professional association, and its efforts to advance technology for the benefit of humanity. Serial entrepreneur and angel investor Christopher Lynch shared his life stories and reviewed some of the technology innovations shaping up the Boston high tech landscape. He especially stressed that innovations in Big Data would power the next technology revolution that would surpass the Gold Rush, Industrial Revolution and the Internet. |
