China Education Symposium and its 2014 Annual Conference
哈佛大学中国教育论坛是哈佛大学研究生院的学生组织。其宗旨在连接青年教育实践者、学者、政策制定者以及各界人士，促进与中国教育相关的讨论，以及支持教育实践。目前论坛有海内外会员近千人，拥有自己的会刊，通过线上和线下两种平台开展例常活动。
China Education Symposium is a student organization at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. We strive to promote conversations on education in China and to support education initiatives aimed at improving China’s education. China Education Symposium currently has more than 400 members made up of scholars, policy makers, business leaders and students interested in improving China’s education.
哈佛中国教育论坛年会每年5月在哈佛大学召开，每次均邀请中美知名学者及实践者展示成果、 交流观点。2012年年会以“教育创新”为主题，2013年年会以“国际化时代的中国教育改革”为主题，参与人数均超过200人。哈佛中国教育论坛以往的 嘉宾包括往届嘉宾包括人大附中副校长周建华、西交利物浦大学执行校长席酉民、哈佛肯尼迪政府学院HAUSER非盈利组织研究中心中国项目主任胡馨、“多元 智能理论”的创始人哈佛大学Howard Gardner教授，哈佛大学国际与比较教育教授Fernando Reimers等。Harvard SEED，美丽中国行动，立人图书馆，阳光书屋等在内的青年教育实践项目也参与交流。
The China Education Symposium Annual Conference is held in May. The theme of the Conference is to discuss issues related to the education in China. As China has unequivocally developed its economic prowess in recent decades, its education has not kept up. Major issues in education are becoming more than ever sources of disenchantment and dissatisfaction. The theme of the 2013 China Education Symposium Conference was China’s Education Reform in the Globalized World. Distinguished guest speakers from academia, government, the non-profit sector and the business world convened in Cambridge for two days to share their insights on China’s education reform in the new age of globalization with more than 200 attendees from Harvard and the Boston area. Past speakers at the China Education Symposium included Professor Howard Gardner, Professor Fernando Reimers, presenters from Teach for China, Harvard China SEED, and Sunshine Library, etc…
