Newton, Mass., Nov. 25, 2015, — What a great party yesterday and we had 32 people present! Many thanks to Amy Sangiolo’s delicious turkey and her hard work.
We also truly appreciate each participant for their contribution to making our event such a success — with special thanks to our great cooks, Weishan and Tony for their Chinese buns, 8-treasure sweet rice and fresh caught fish; Fong and Jicky for their home-style vegetable dishes; Judy’s green bean cassarole.
Tasty Chinese cakes were brought in by Asst. Director Bruce Chen from the Taipei Economic Office Boston. Many of our members brought mashed potatoes, butternut squash, fried rice, fresh fruits, pies and Chinese desserts. Wow, what a feast we had!
Thank you everybody and Happy Thanksgiving! Now we look forward to our Christmas party on 12/22 from 11-2. Liwen Wang will be performing to entertain our Elders! Please all come and bring a friend. See you all then and take care.
