Cambridge, Mass., Jan. 31, 2016, — The 2016 Ivy League Spring Festival Gala put on an amazing show last night at Harvard Sanders Theatre. It’s a grand celebration of the coming of the Lunar Year of Monkey. The packed audience enjoyed a night of fantastic music, dance and even magic.

Hosted by the Chinese Students and Scholars Associations of the eight Ivy League universities, the annual Ivy League Spring Festival Gala has enjoyed tremendous success and support from members of the Ivy League schools as well as the greater Boston Chinese community.
This year, the program included traditional and modern Chinese dancing, singing, martial arts, acrobats, instrumental performances and magic show by top performers like Mr. Yazhi Guo, one of the best suona players in the world and lyric writer Bin Liu, who wrote the lyrics for one of the most popular Chinese songs: Legend.
Calvin Wang and Xiaoyi Chen led Harvard and Wellesley Wushu teams and performed wonderful routines at the gala. Please check out some pictures and a video from the gala below.
