I was so very, very proud of my theater talented friends at Fengxiang Drama Club putting out another wonderful performance play “Where Am I?” in Chestnut Hill yesterday (Aug. 6, 2016) afternoon. About 400 people showed up for the last performance before the cast members leaving for Beijing.
Cast members took a curtain call at end of the performances.
There were three other GIG events at the same time in Boston and I wish I could have attend, but I loved attending this one.
They were in Northeastern and MIT, made the Broadway in New York, and are going to Beijing this week for six more performances. I attended all three performances in Boston area.
If you missed it yesterday, too bad that you would have to go to Beijing to see it. Sorry, 12 of you “promised” to come, and got the $15 tickets at GBCCA cookout, didn’t pay for it, and didn’t show up. I already made the donation to the theater group.
They treated my group very well and had saved the “whole front row as VIP” sitting for my friends (with my name on the seats too). It’s your loss by not coming. We really enjoyed the play again. GOOD LUCK on the way to Beijing.
BY the way,for some of you said “I already saw it,why again?”
Just to let you know, some of the cast members are already in Beijing. The cast members with new ones here getting better every single performance.
I love you all. I wish I could have gone with you all to Beijing. Remarkable job. THANKS AGAIN!
