Japanese Delegation Visits Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing

Nanjing, China, August 16, 2014, — A group of peace advocates from Japan visited Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre yesterday. Friday, August 15, 2014, marked the 69th anniversary of Japan’s unconditional surrender at the end of world War II.

Delegates from Japan mourn for victims of the Nanjing Massacre during an assembly at the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders in Nanjing, capital of east China’s Jiangsu province.


The signs they carried reminded people never to forget the history lessons, and new generations in China and Japan should be friends. It’s the 18th time that the Japanese delegation has visited China. They will also visit Wuxi and Shanghai in this trip.
