Oct. 22, 2013, Cambridge, Mass. — Chinese North America Sports Association (CNASA) hosted its popular annual badminton tournament on October 12 at Zesiger Athletic Center of MIT. The CNASA Cup badminton tournament attracts a dozen or so teams from East Coast each year.

This year’s tournament is co-hosted by MIT CAST. Each team paid Registration Fee of $120, which included court fee and cost of shuttlecocks. Wilson Li, a member of the Championship team in 2011, was this year’s Chief Referee. Mr. Li presented trophy and medals to top three teams in men’s and mixed groups. Joe Chow, James Leung, Simon Hu, Yankai Zhang, Lianshun Zhang and other CNASA volunteers helped out at the tournament. |
Mr. Jun Xian, who had served as Chief Referee in the past few years, thanked the volunteers and Wilson Li for making this year’s tournament a success. Please checked out pictures of this year’s winning teams below.
