This year our China Town Hall will be the most exciting yet. President Jimmy Carter will join us via live webcast to talk about US-China Relations and Pacific Strategy. At Suffolk, we will have with us The Honorable Keven Nealer, a member of President Obama’s Intelligence Advisory Board who is experienced in the US involvement with Asia. Also joining us will be BBC Correspondent Bill Hayton, who will tell us about his just-released book The South China Sea: The Struggle for Power in Asia. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing.
We will meet in the Amenities Room (1st floor) at Suffolk University at 73 Tremont Street, Boston. Doors open at 6:15pm; Opening remarks and book discussion 6:30pm to 7:00pm; Live webcast 7:00pm to 7:45pm; Q&A with panelists 7:45pm to 8:15.
The meeting is Free and Open to the Public. Refreshments will be Served.
