New York City, Feb. 2, 2014, — The 15th Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade & Festival was held today in Manhattan. Thousands of residents, tourists and Super Bowl fans enjoyed this annual celebration. And the celebration of Year of Horse might really be a good sign for the Denver Broncos who will play against Seattle Sea Hawks in Super Bowl XLVIII in Metlife Stadium eleven miles from New York Chinatown at 6:30 PM this evening.

The Chinese New Year of Horse started on Jan. 31, 2014. Horse is one of the most beloved animals in Chinese history as it symbolizes bravery and diligence.
The parade started at Little Italy and went through the main streets of Lower Chinatown in Manhattan. Cultural Festival and Booth were at Sara Roosevelt Park adjacent to Canal and Forsyth Streets. Many tourists got to the parade and fetival by subway or out-of-town buses. There were performances, cultural exhibitions, a market fair, and an elaborate and colorful dragon parade, which is the favorite of many kids.
The float of SinoVision TV attracted a lot of attention from the the audience. There were a few familiar TV hosts and reports from SinoVision TV entertaining the crowd with their smiles and performances. SinoVision broadcasts at channel 63.3 in NYC, and online.
According to betterchinatown.com, peopel who were born in the Year of the Horse(1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014) are likely to share certain characteristics as follows.

Their sharpness makes them quick to pick up new skills and are able to handle many tasks at one time.
