Boston, June 11, 2013 – Governor Deval Patrick today recognized the 2012-2013 graduates of the Commonwealth Management Program (CMCP). Seventy-eight managers completed the program, representing all eight secretariats and 37 agencies across the Executive Branch. During the year long program, managers explore ways to provide better service to the citizens of the Commonwealth and streamline processes to gain efficiency in their agencies.

“I thank this year’s graduates for their deep commitment to public service and creating a better, stronger Commonwealth that will last for the next generation,” said Governor Patrick. “Together, we will continue the important work of creating the efficiency and accountability that make state government work for every citizen.”
The program, launched in October 2010, is organized as a cohort-based learning program that provides opportunities for Executive Branch managers to learn from one another and establish professional ties that will last beyond the CMCP program itself. All Executive Branch managers with at least one year of management experience are eligible. |
