NAAAP Boston to Host Career Success Conference on July 20

The National Association of Asian American Professionals Boston chapter (NAAAP Boston) is proud to announce our 2013 Career Success Conference: Strategies for Communicating Effectively is open for registration. It will be held on Saturday, July 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Liberty Mutual Insurance at 175 Berkeley Street.

Strategies for Communicating Effectively is this year’s theme of NAAAP Boston’s “Taking Charge of Your Career Success” conference series, started in late 2010, uniquely designed to help Asian professionals develop critical strategies for career advancement and leadership.

This full-day conference features a Panel discussion on how ability to communicate help or hurt career advancement, two in-depth workshops on confident communication and soft power, and managing difficult conversations.

Preston Ni, Communication Coach at Preston Ni Communication Coaching and Elaine Lin, Consultant at Triad Consulting will lead the two workshops. Our panelists include Tina Wong-Russell, Executive Coach and Consultant; Andrew Seto, Director of Compensation at Staples; Hitendra Patel, Managing Director at IXL Center and Rui Zhang, Assistant Vice President & Actuary at John Hancock Financial Services and Lecturer at Boston University Actuarial Science Department.
