Boston, Dec. 27, 2014, — It’s been a busy year for members of Chinese American Association of Lexington (CAAL). They have volunteered in the Lexington 300 celebrations, and a few of them successfully ran for Lexington town meeting member seats.

The Chinese New Year of Horse starts on Jan. 31, 2014. CAAL has planned two events to celebrate the Chinese New Year on Feb. 1 and 2.
In an email to members of CAAL, Peter Lee wrote: “This year’s event, to be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Minuteman Regional High School, promises to be special. In addition to a wide selection of delicious Chinese dinner entrees and desserts, CAAL has arranged for an entertaining array of cultural performances.”
The banquet will begin just after 6:00 pm on Feb. 1. Dinner will be served at 6:45 pm. The snow date is Sunday, Feb. 2. Adult tickets for the show are $25 each, with children aged 12 years and under at $15 each.
You can order tickets (tables of 10) to the banquet and to the show by sending a check (payable to CAAL), phone number (for confirmation), and a self-addressed stamped envelope to: CAAL New Year Banquet, c/o Diamond Hayes, 63 Shade St, Lexington, 02421. If you’ve mailed your ticket order but haven’t received them by return mail, please call Diamond Hayes at 781-652-0390 to follow up.
