  • Boston Marches Forward as Year of Snake Ends

    Boston, Jan. 27, 2014, — The Chinese New Year of Horse starts this Friday, Jan. 31. It will bring an end of the Year of Snake which was full of dramatic events.

    Two bombs interrupted Boston Marathon in the afternoon of April 15 near the finish line on Boylston Street. The picture below has become a symbol of Boston Strong as people of Boston dealt with the aftermath of the bombings.

    The Chinese Alliance for Equality, along with other Chinese American organizations dedicated to protecting civil rights and improving racial equality, is writing to respond to the White House’s inadequate investigation to the petition against the Jimmy Kimmel Show. We appreciate your attention but are disheartened and disappointed by your office’s stance.
