（来自荆楚网） 6月18日，市公安局伍家分局局长赵正东收到一封来自大洋彼岸的感谢信。寄信人姓蔡，是一位科学家，美籍华人。前不久，他来宜探亲，将存有高科技资料的笔记本电脑放在亲戚家，不幸遭抢。伍家警方特派侦查员两赴广西抓获嫌疑人，并一举破获20余起全国流窜性入室盗窃案。这一举动，感动了蔡先生，特写信向宜昌民警表达谢意。
