Quincy, Mass., Jan. 19, 2015, — The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and the Green Communities Division of the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources have selected the City of Quincy to participate in the 2015 round of Solarize Massachusetts (“Solarize Mass”), a statewide initiative that since 2011 has facilitated contracting for over 16 megawatts of solar energy systems on 2,400 properties.

By QuanLife without language: all the ideas, thoughts, and emotions present, but unable to be expressed. This is how I picture my grandfather when he first immigrated to America with my grandmother and their nine children. Lost, he wanders around, hoping to bump into someone who can understand him. He raises his own children to know Vietnamese and hopes his future grandchildren would also be connected to the language of their ancestors. But when I form my lips into unnatural shapes to speak these words, they come out pathetically.

Video — Ballboy Helps Inspire China to Asian Cup Victory
CANBERRA, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) — A 12-year-old ballboy from Brisbane, Australia, could prove to be China’s secret weapon at this year’s Asian Cup after he helped goalkeeper Wang Dalei save a penalty in their opening game victory over Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.

Menuhin Winner Angelo Xiang Yu to Perform at Jordan Hall
Boston, Jan. 12, 2015, — In the evening of Jan. 17, Foundation For Chinese Performing Arts will present a new year concert that features two you the most talented young musicians in the area: violinist Angelo Xiang Yu and pianist Qing Jiang. After winning Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition in 2010 as a student at Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Angelo Xiang Yu came to Boston to study violin at NEC.

East Meets Words — the Longest Running AAPI Open Mic Series in N.E.

USOC Nominates Boston to Host the 2024 Olympic Games
