  • First Nonstop Flight from Mainland China Lands at Boston Logan Airport

    Boston, June 22, 2014, –Hainan Airlines launched a brand new route from Beijing to Boston, using its latest Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

    The new flights commenced on June 20, 2014 marking the first ever direct passenger service between Boston and mainland China. Initially, Hainan Airlines will operate the trans-Pacific route four times a week, with flights departing Beijing Capital International Airport every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 1350, before arriving at Boston’s Logan International Airport at 1510 the same day, having crossed the International Date Line. The return leg will then depart the Massachusetts city at 1710, getting back into Beijing at 1850 the next day.

  • Airlines Add Direct Routes between China and US

    Beijing, June 20, 2014 (Global Times), — It is quite rare to see numerous routes opened between China and the United States within two weeks, but this is exactly what is happening now.

    Hainan Airlines, the fourth-largest airline in China in terms of fleet size, opens the nonstop route between Beijing and Boston, its third US city after Seattle and Chicago, Friday.

    Cam Cameron grew up in Ann Arbor Michigan as the youngest of seven children and fell in love with soccer from an early age. He understood early on that soccer can be an expensive sport for any family. Many players have experienced friends, family, and teammates who have been unable to continue to play due to cost prevention. He had a goal to play college soccer and nearly had this goal wiped away after suffering a broken leg in both his sophomore and junior seasons of high school. These are important years in college recruiting and after a standpoint senior season, Cam was recruited by Michigan and earned a scholarship while playing.
