Close to 600 guests, including candidate for governor State Treasurer Steve Grossman, candidate for Lt. Governor Cambridge City Councilor Leland Cheung, participated in the banquet.

  • TV Schedule for 2014 World Cup

    New York City, June 5, 2014, –The 2014 FIFA World Cup will be ESPN’s eighth World Cup and most comprehensive presentation to date. ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC will combine to air all 64 matches live and in high definition (June 12 – July 13). All ESPN and ESPN2 games will be available on WatchESPN, while ABC matches will be available on WATCH ABC. ESPN3, ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network available in more than 85 million homes, will present matches live in multiple languages (other than English and Spanish).

  • International Children’s Day Meets Supersized BBQ by CYPN

  • Eight Fun Events in June as Hong Kong Celebrates Massachusetts

    Boston, June 2, 2013, –Hong Kong and Massachusetts have all along enjoyed very close ties. With the historic visit to Hong Kong by Deval Patrick, Governor of Massachusetts in December 2013, Massachusetts exported US$1.76 billion worth of goods to Hong Kong last year, representing a growth of close to 150% compared to 2012.

    Massachusetts companies have also established a long presence in Hong Kong – for instance, State Street, Liberty Mutual Insurance and Fidelity have all chosen Hong Kong as the location of their regional head offices. Universities in Massachusetts have strong links with Hong Kong too. Harvard University, MIT, Boston University and Tufts University, etc have all established a vibrant alumni community in Hong Kong over the years.

  • Boston Celebrates 35th Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival on June 15

    Boston, June 2, 2014, –Today is the Duanwu Festival Day, also known as Dragon Boat Festival. The festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the traditional lunar calendar to honor ancient Chinese poet Qu Yuan. Boston is the host of one of the longest running Dragon Boat Festival celebrations in North America.

  • Harvard Hosts Book Launch Ceremony for Macroeconomics A Chinese Perspective

    Cambridge, Mass., May 26, 2014, — “Macroeconomics(English version)” written by Prof. Li Xiaoxi has been published by CENGAGE Learning Singapore. This is the first Macroeconomics textbook written by Chinese economist issued internationally.

    In the book launch ceremony this afternoon at Harvard University, Prof. Li Xiaoxi expounds the evolution of GDP and NI as a focus in economics history by starting with “Capital in the Twenty-First Century” written by Thomas Piketty. The book launch ceremony was organized by Chinese Students and Scholars Association(CSSA) of Harvard Kennedy School(HKS). Attendees of the ceremony congratulated Prof. Li for his book and his groundbreaking research.
