我们亲爱的朋友刘向东因急症抢救无效于2021年11月4日病逝， 离开了深爱的妻子于涛和两个上高中的儿子，享年49岁。刘向东于1972年2月29日生在中国济南，毕业于中国海洋大学，1995年获全额奖学金赴美麻州大学Amherst 分校硕博连读，后一直从事计算机行业。他热爱生活，对家庭有很强的责任感。刘向东于涛一家平时热心公益，时常为社区服务奉献他们的智慧和心血。

我们深深想念这位体贴的丈夫，慈爱的父亲，热心的同事和邻居。请大家预留时间参加本周六的追思礼拜和遗体告别。让我们一起来缅怀刘向东先生，纪念他的一生，安慰他的家人。

Xiangdong Liu Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Xiangdong Liu of Andover, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 49, on November 4, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Xiangdong Liu.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Tao Yu; his sons, Larry Liu and Alex Liu; and his parents, Chengxin Yao and Jingming Liu.

A GoFundMe campaign has been established so that contributions may be made for the Liu family to assist with the funeral arrangements and everyday needs of the family during this difficult time and beyond.

A memorial service for Xiangdong Liu will be held at 9 AM on Nov. 13, 2021. It’s at Cataudella Funeral Home (126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen MA).
