  • I Watched Play “Where Am I?” Again and Again!

    I was so very, very proud of my theater talented friends at Fengxiang Drama Club putting out another wonderful performance play “Where Am I?” in Chestnut Hill yesterday (Aug. 6, 2016) afternoon. About 400 people showed up for the last performance before the cast members leaving for Beijing.

  • NYC Senior Center Volunteer Vincent Tse Assaulted, in Critical Condition

    New York City, — On July 22, 68 years old Asian male Vincent Tse, who has been a volunteer for six years at Selfhelp Benjamin Rosenthal-Prince Street Senior Center, was looking for parking spot on the way to the center to volunteer. He had a disagreement with an African-American and was severely assaulted. He is now in critical condition. This case is currently under investigation by the police. Senior Center manager, Mr. Jing Sheng Qiu, is asking for witness to step up to testify.

  • Leehom Wang to Receive Honorary Doctor of Music Degree from Berklee

    Boston, July 18, 2016, — An international cast of students will perform the influential music of Leehom Wang, the best-selling Mandarin-language musician of his generation on Nov. 13 at Boston Symphony Hall. At the concert, Leehom will receive an honorary doctor of music degree and join the Berklee musicians in performance.

  • Pianist Andrew Li — A Rising Star

    Boston, July 12, 2016, — Just days before leaving for the Cooper Competition, Andrew Li gave an amazing recital at M Steinert and Sons in downtown Boston. About 80 music fans packed the small hall on the third floor of 162 Boylston St., right across Boston Common. They were treated with a night of beautiful music from one the of the rising stars in classic music in Boston.

  • CHSNE Holds Public Presentation of chinatownatlas.org

    Boston, June 23, 2016, — Chinese History Society of New England (CHSNE) celebrated the online launch of MIT Professor Emeritus Tunney Lee’s Boston Chinatown Atlas recently at Tufts Medical Center in Chinatown. According to Susan Chinsen, Managing Director of CHSNE, the launch of chinatownatlas.org has received $9,120 in donations as of today.
