The program features classic pieces by Ms. Ying Wu and musicians from Longy School, as well as performances by dozens students of Ms. Ying Wu’s vocal classes.

Singtao Daily Honored by NACA

Cambridge, Mass., — Awards were handed out at the new year concert of North American Chorus Association (NACA). About 700 music fans attended the concert at Harvard’s Sanders Theatre. Singtao Daily, one of the largest daily Chinese newspapers in the world, was honored at the concert for its detailed reporting of the grand Yellow River Cantata concert last year.

Governors Baker, Nixon Wager Friendly Bet for NFL Playoff Game

Xiamen to Host First Ironman Event in China

Ambassador Zhang Qiyue, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate, delivered a speech that highlighted the achievements in Sino-US relations over the past year. Representatives of Gov. Rising Star — Wellesley College Wushu Team

Located in the western Boston suburbs, Wellesley College is the famed alma mater of notable female Chinese figures like Soong Mei-Ling and Bing Xing and US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. Recently, the Wellesley Wushu Team attended the 2015 Cultural Day event on campus, featuring a 9-minute wushu performance with demonstrations on all sorts of Chinese weapons： straight sword, broadsword, three-section cudgel and staff. Their performances garnered enthusiastic cheering from about a thousand audience members composed of distinguished professors and students alike.
