In commemoration of this anniversary, Salt Lake City Public Library will host China During WWII film exhibition at the main library auditorium. China is a key alley of the US during WWII in the Pacific arena.

Philadelphia, July 24, 2015, — Lindy Li updated her Lindy Li for U.S. Congress Facebook page to thank her supporter for their contributions on July 17. “Starting in late May, together we raised $128,235 in about just 5 weeks. A total of 488 donors contributed to our campaign, with some giving just a few dollars, though these generous souls gave all they could. We raised this amount without the help of any consultants or political operatives — indeed, all of this was because of you, a grassroots effort through and through. And this was just the warm-up round,” wrote Ms. Li.

The 5th Asian American Day Prep Meeting Held at CCBA in Boston Chinatown

On July 13, the 5th Asian American Day Preparatory Meeting was held at Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) in Boston Chinatown. Klysler Yen, vice president of AAAB (Asian American Association of Boston) board attended the meeting, and his son Donnie Yen, the famous Hong Kong Kung Fu movie star, delivered his congrats and wishes to the successful hosting of the 5th Asian American Day event via his father. Director David Bai hosted the meeting. The Asian American Day aims to create a platform in order to unify Asian Americans in Boston, and to beautify Asian American communities.

On August 14 CYPN invites you to join our seminar with Michelle Wu, the most successful Asian American politician in Boston. Right after graduation from Harvard Law School in 2012, Michelle got elected the following year at the age of 28. She is the first Chinese American and first Asian American woman to serve on the Boston City Council, as well as the youngest current member.

George Li Dedicates His Silver Medal as Birthday Gift to the USA
Boston, July 4, 2015, — Pianist George Li, a native of Lexington Mass., won Silver Medal at Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow a couple days ago. He wrote on Facebook today:”Congratulations USA! I dedicate my silver medal as your birthday gift!! Happy Birthday United States of America!!!” It must be a gift that George Li has planned to make for some time as his home is just a couple miles away from the Battle Green in Lexington Center where the first shots of American Revolution were fired on April 19, 1775.

The Legend of Female Generals of Ancient China Comes Alive at Lincoln Center

American Pianist George Li Takes Moscow by Storm at Tchaikovsky Competition

Lexington, Mass., June 26, 2015, — On Father’s Day of 2015, Mr. Jian Li and his son Andrew Li were having Zongzi for lunch, a delicacy from the Dragon Boat Festival. There eyes glued to the TV screen on which George Li was performing live in the round 2 of Tchaikovsky Competition. “Go George!” shouted Andrew Li, the little brother, whiling taking a selfie in front of the TV set with his cell phone.

Lexington, Mass., June 22, 2015, — Boston Bilingual Media and Publishing (BBMP) Inc. held a book release party at Yangtze River restaurant in Lexington on June 20. Over a dozen friends attended the party to congratulate Prof. Shih Ying Lee for releasing his auto-biography From Tsinghua to M.I.T. — My Journey from Education to Entrepreneurship, including Prof. Gang Chen, head of M.I.T. mechanical engineer department and Prof. Larry Ho of Harvard University.
