George Li Dedicates His Silver Medal as Birthday Gift to the USA
Boston, July 4, 2015, — Pianist George Li, a native of Lexington Mass., won Silver Medal at Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow a couple days ago. He wrote on Facebook today:”Congratulations USA! I dedicate my silver medal as your birthday gift!! Happy Birthday United States of America!!!” It must be a gift that George Li has planned to make for some time as his home is just a couple miles away from the Battle Green in Lexington Center where the first shots of American Revolution were fired on April 19, 1775.

The Legend of Female Generals of Ancient China Comes Alive at Lincoln Center

Over 1,000 fans of Peking Opera packed the theater and enjoyed the brilliant performance by artists from China.

After another brilliant performance in the final round, 19-year-old George Li has become a fan favorite and a clear front runner of the piano competition.

Ambassador Zhang had a meeting with representatives from the Chinese community after greeting parents, students and teachers of the CCCC Little Wagon Early Education Center.

American Pianist George Li Takes Moscow by Storm at Tchaikovsky Competition

Lexington, Mass., June 26, 2015, — On Father’s Day of 2015, Mr. Jian Li and his son Andrew Li were having Zongzi for lunch, a delicacy from the Dragon Boat Festival. There eyes glued to the TV screen on which George Li was performing live in the round 2 of Tchaikovsky Competition. “Go George!” shouted Andrew Li, the little brother, whiling taking a selfie in front of the TV set with his cell phone.

Over a dozen friends attended the party to congratulate Prof. Shih Ying Lee for releasing his auto-biography From Tsinghua to M.I.T. — My Journey from Education to Entrepreneurship, including Prof. Gang Chen, head of M.I.T. mechanical engineer department and Prof. Larry Ho of Harvard University.

Father’s Day Gift — George Li Advances to Round 2 at the Tchaikovsky Competition

Boston, June 20, 2015, — On the third day of auditions in the nomination “Piano” at the Tchaikovsky Competition on June 18, the sensation of the day was 19-year-old American pianist George Li. The highly artistic, masterful, and enchanting performance of the young pianist from Lexington, Mass. delighted the public. Li is a Harvard student, and posted a Happy Birthday Facebook update to his father Jian Li after his performance in the first round. And a Father’s Day gift came today as the results of Round I in the Piano category have been announced and George Li was among the 12 pianists making the cut as expected.

Contestants of ATV Miss Asia Debut at NAWA Banquet in Boston Chinatown

Boston, June 17, 2015, — Five contestants of ATV Miss Asia Pageant attended the annual banquet of National Asian Women Association (NAWA) in Boston Chinatown in the evening of June 14. Thanks to Jing Xu, runner up of 2014 Miss Asia Pageant in the US East Coast region, contestants in the Boston area can join the pageant locally this year. Van Amanda Le, president of NAWA Mass. branch, thanked the contestants for showcasing the beauty and talents of Asian Women at the banquet in front of over 200 guests.
