    Too much salt eating linked to millions of heart-related deaths worldwide: study

    WASHINGTON, March 21 (Xinhua) — Eating too much salt contributed to 2.3 million deaths from heart attacks, strokes and other heart-related diseases throughout the world in 2010, representing 15 percent of all deaths due to these causes, according to a research finding presented Thursday at the American Heart Association’s scientific sessions.

  • Called Ambassador of Go, Chang Hao Charmed Many at 2013 ACGA Spring Go Expo

    Cambridge, Mass. — When the world champion Go player Chang Hao (9p) showed up at the Student Organization Center at Harvard University on March 23, many Go fans couldn’t believe that they would get a chance to play Go with one of the best players in the world. Despite of jet lag, Chang Hao patiently played with six to seven fans simultaneously at a time, and explained to them how they could improve after each game in the two-day 2013 ACGA Spring Go Expo.

  • A Celebration of History and Diversity — Pictures and Video from Dance around the World at Lexington High School

    Lexington, Mass., March 19, 2013, (bostonese.com) — As part of the Lexington 300th Incorporation Weekend activities, the one-of-a-kind Dance around the World was held on March 16, 2013 at Lexington High School from 6:00-10:30 PM. The evening was packed with exciting segments. There were Classical/Folk dance performances where people could learn and practice some new dance moves from around the world. It was then followed by a high energy, DJ led dance party. LHS students led some of the popular dances. There was also a unique fusion dance that highlights how music bridges across cultures. There were cultural booths from local diverse communities, and attendees were able to enjoy delicious ethnic food.
