BOSTON – Tuesday, December 26, 2017 – Mayor Martin J. Walsh today announced a set of tips and guidelines in advance of this week’s forecast of bitterly cold weather. Forecasters are predicting low temperatures throughout the week with the coldest period Wednesday night into Thursday morning and Thursday night into Friday morning. With the wind chill, frostbite can occur within 30 minutes.

Secretary Acosta Presents Awards to MA Businesses Offering English Language Classes
Oct. 24, 2017, Boston, — Last week, Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Rosalin Acosta, spoke to a packed room of business leaders, immigrants, and English language program providers at Northeastern University. She was there to present awards at an event organized by English for New Bostonians to businesses that provide English classes for their immigrant workers, but she also had a personal message to share.

Mayor Walsh Signs Jim Brooks Community Stabilization Act

MA AG Healey Launches Investigation into Equifax Data Breach
Boston, Sept. 8, 2017, — Following reports of a major data breach at credit reporting agency Equifax Inc. compromising the personal information of hundreds of millions of consumers nationwide and nearly three million in Massachusetts, Attorney General Maura Healey today launched an investigation into the breach and urged consumers to take immediate steps to protect their information against identity theft.
