Harvard Chinese Life Sciences Symposium is the major annual event organized by CSSA-HMS, which features presentations and panel discussions covering a variety of emerging topics and attracts participants from both the US and China. Since 2012, we have broadened the Symposium by including translational medicine, public health policy, and biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry with the goal to foster open dialogues and explore potential collaborations. Our past speakers include world-renown academic investigators and researchers, talented postdoctoral students, and prominent leaders from the industry. The flyer is attached for your reference.

As a non-profit, science-driven, research-oriented organization, CSSA-HMS is dedicated to building a dynamic platform to facilitate communications among Chinese scholars & scientists at Harvard Medical School and its seventeen affiliated institutions, and strengthening multifaceted collaborations between Longwood Medical Area and Chinese biomedical research communities. One major goal of CSSA-HMS is to enriching the work & life experience of Chinese students & scientists as well as enhancing their intellectual exchange among themselves and the greater LMS community.
