The voting started right after the midnight, and a total of 10 votes were recorded in this small precinct. Among the 10 votes, there were five independents, three Republicans and two democrats.

    The IFSM 2012 Boston Contest hosted by Eclipse Mass Media (EMM) was successfully held at Royale Nightclub in the evening of Sunday, October 14, 2012.


    The two major categories of the contest are Runway Model (for contestants 5-foot and 8-inch or taller) and Photo Model for other contestants. After four-rounds of intense competition, the winner of Runway Model: Jaeyoung Lee and winner of Photo Model: Jessica Graf stood on the runway with followers on their hands and big smiles on their faces. They thanked Eclipse Mass Media for providing such a wonderful opportunity to showcase their talents. Everyone in the audience applauded and cheered loudly.

    Boston – November 5, 2012 – Governor Deval Patrick today announced that Massachusetts is helping to enable gasoline shipments to New York and New Jersey as those states and their residents recover from Hurricane Sandy. The announcement comes at the request of New York officials, and will facilitate the distribution of gas supply throughout the region.

  • Gov. Patrick Urges Residents to Stay Home on Monday As Hurricane Sandy Moves North

    Boston – In the afternoon of Sunday, October 28, Governor Patrick held a news conference wearing a Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) uniform. He urged Massachusetts workers, including non-essential state employees to stay home on Monday. Hurricane Sandy has killed 65 people in the Caribbean islands, and is threatening lives and properties along US Eastern seaboard from Virginia to Maine.

  • New Bostonians Summit: Immigrant Families’ Educational and Economic Success is Boston’s Future

    The New Bostonioan Summit was held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 8:00 AM at City Year’s Lavine Civic Forum. The half-day summit focused on top issues facing Boston’s immigrants. About 250 Boston’s immigrants and representatives from several sectors attended the Summit The half-day summit provided an update on the New Bostonians Agenda, a collective response to three of the biggest issues facing Boston’s immigrants: educational attainment for their children (K-12 Education); English language acquisition (ESOL); and economic success through family-sustaining jobs.
