  • Boston-based Startup’s Trademark Application Opposed by Chinese Internet Giant Tencent

    It came as astonishment to Mr. Mo, founder of Dinnnerful.com and his business partners that their trademark application was opposed by Tencent, a Chinese internet tycoon. Mo couldn’t believe it as the submitted trademarks are in different language as Tencent’s and the two companies run totally different businesses.

  • Rachel Skerritt Named Headmaster of Boston Latin School

    Boston, March 23, 2017 – Boston Public Schools (BPS) Superintendent Tommy Chang announced today that he has chosen veteran school leader and former BPS chief of staff, Rachel Skerritt, as Boston Latin School’s 28th headmaster. Ms. Skerritt, who graduated from Boston Latin School (BLS) in 1995 and taught English at her alma mater, will become the first person of color and the third woman to lead the institution in its 382-year-history.

  • Two N.H. Women Arrested for Trafficking Women for Sex in Mass.

    Boston, Feb. 14, 2017 – Two New Hampshire women have been arrested and arraigned in connection with trafficking women for commercial sex in Massachusetts communities through an online “escort” service, Attorney General Maura Healey announced today.

    A massage parlor in Western Mass. was shut down in Dec. 2016 for allegedly trafficking women for sex.

    Feb. 13, 2017, — Less than a month on the job, National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has resigned amid allegations he inappropriately talked about U.S. sanctions with a Russian official, and later allegedly misled then-Vice President-elect Pence about the conversations. Fans cheered loudly as flows of Patriots coaches and players passed by on duck boats. Tom Brady, the MVP of Superbowl LI, thanked fans for their support. “We want six. We want six.” fans cheered loudly.
