  • Chinese Americans Rally in Front of MA State House in Support of NYPD Officer Liang

    Boston, April 27, 2015, — Dozens of Chinese Americans rallied in front of MA State House Sunday afternoon to protest serious charges filed against NYPD Officer Peter Liang after he accidentally shot a Black man Akai Gurley dead in a NYC housing project. Rookie Officer Liang was indicted with second degree homocide along with other serious charges on Feb. 12, 2015.

  • HBS’ Ruth Mulan Chu Chao Center Tops Off

    Boston, April 27, 2015, — Harvard Business School (HBS) held a “Topping Off” ceremony at the construction site of a new Executive Education facility — the Ruth Mulan Chu Chao Center on Friday, April 24, signifying the completion of the structural phase of the project. The 30-minute ceremony began at 11:30 AM with remarks by Harvard Business School Dean Nitin Nohria; former U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao (MBA 1979); Ms. Angela Chao, Deputy Chair, Foremost Group (AB 1994, MBA 2001); and Robert C. O’Leary, Senior Vice President, Lee Kennedy Company, the construction firm building the Ruth Mu Ian Chu Chao Center.

  • Biggest Marathon Survey Finds Asia Leading Marathon Popularity Growth

    COPENHAGEN, Denmark, April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Running research center Runrepeat.com has completed the biggest marathon races survey, covering 2,195,588 results of global running competitions in a period from 2009 to 2014. It revealed that marathon running become more and more popular – worldwide average growth is +13.25%. Growth agents in terms of marathons popularity are women (+26.9% compared to men’s +7.9% growth of participation) and Asian countries (+92.43% from 2009 to 2014).

    Acton, April 15, 2015, — At the opening party of Angel Culture Exchange (ACE) Center at 898 Main St., in Acton, director Ke ke presented President’s Volunteer Service Award to students of Angel Dance Company in the evening of April 11. These students, mostly high schoolers in the Metro West, have done a lot of volunteer work in local communities. About 50 teachers, parents and students were on hand to celebrate this special occasion.
