  • Boston Mourns Passing of Tom Menino

    Boston, Oct. 30, 2014, — Thomas Michael Menino (December 27, 1942 – October 30, 2014) passed away this morning in a hospital in Boston at age of 71. He served as the 53rd Mayor of Boston, and was the city’s longest-serving mayor. Before becoming mayor, the Boston native was a member and President of Boston City Council.

Coakley’s campaign got a boost last Friday when Hillary Clinton joined her rally in Boston, and strongly endorsed Coakley’s candidacy. Hillary told supporters that Coakley would become a great Governor for the state if elected.
