    Boston, Sept. 6, 2016, — One day after Somerville Times announced its endorsement of Cambridge City Councilor Leland Cheung in the State Senate primary over incumbent Sen. Jehlen, bostonese.com, the largest bilingual Asian American news website, announced today that it also endorsed Councilor Cheung in this race.

  • 成就历史！9月8日请为议员张礼能投票

    现任剑桥市议员张礼能（Leland Cheung）正在参选麻州州议员，代表2nd Middlesex选区，包含Medford、Somerville、部分Cambridge和部分Winchester。

    大选在即，紧锣密鼓，半年的努力仅在大选之日见分晓。张礼能（Leland Cheung）是政坛中不可忽视的华裔新秀。本科毕业于斯坦福大学，取得了物理与经济双学士，并留在斯坦福进修取得了航天航空工程硕士的学位，而后回到了他出生长大的剑桥，在MIT取得了MBA，在哈佛肯尼迪政治学院取得了公共管理硕士的学位。研究生在读期间，张礼能就成功当选了剑桥市议员。就任剑桥市议员的第一年里，张礼能所通过的法案比其他市议员的头年记录都要高，展现了做事雷厉风行、务实、高效的政府工作人员工作态度。

  • Gov. Baker Marks Milestone in Springfield Rail Car Factory Construction

    August 25, 2016, — Governor Charlie Baker today joined local elected officials and state transportation leaders to recognize a major milestone in CRRC MA’s construction of its $95 million factory in Springfield by signing the last beam to be hoisted atop the factory as part of a “Topping Off” ceremony. Once completed, the factory will manufacture 284 subway cars for the MBTA: 132 for the Red Line, and 152 for the Orange Line.

  • 波士顿姐妹城市杭州自行车国际化服务喜迎G20贵宾

    【星岛日报记者李强波士顿9月3日报导】杭州是波士顿在中国的唯一姐妹城市，本月4日将迎来今年的G20峰会，包括美国总统奥巴马在内的世界领袖将聚集杭州，这座古城将成为世界焦点。和波士顿一样，杭州目前也在大力推动公共自行车项目，以解决道路拥堵和空气质量恶化的问题。

  • Boston City Council Declares the First Asian American Day in the Nation!

    Boston, Sept. 2, 2016, — As the Asian American Day Festival is to take place on Sept. 10 in Boston Common, Boston City Council has declared Sept. 10, 2016 as Asian American Day in Boston. The proclamation is signed by Michelle Wu, president of Boston City Council. This is the first such proclamation by a major city in the nation. Over 1,000 signatures were collected in a petition to declare the second Saturday in September as Asian American Day in Boston and the state.
