    Boston Chinese Photographer Association (BCPA) “2020 One Photo a Week” aims to train its members to capture the unusual moments in daily lives. 活动目的在训练观察,主要在日常平凡的生活中发现并记录下不平凡的瞬间。只有新奇才能产生震撼 !

    The following 15 photos over 15 weeks were shot by Mr. Guozhong Li, who was president of BCPA in 2015. Mr. Li passed away on June 3, 2020 at age 57.

  • Chinese King of Pop Wang LeeHom Rocks BSO and Receives Honorary Degree from Berklee

    Boston, Nov. 15, 2016, — The fully-packed, sold-out performance hall at BSO was packed with over 2,500 Sunday night. They embraced Wang LeeHom, who received an honorary doctoral degree from Berklee College of Music, along with the array of orchestral, vocal, and Chinese drum performers, many of whom are current students or faculty of world-renowned Berklee College of Music.

  • Graceworks Fashion Show to Be Held on Nov. 4 in Concord

    Boston, Oct. 14, 2016, — It’s not often that you can see a fashion show in the quiet western suburbs of Boston. In the evening of November 4, 2016 (6:30-9:30 PM), students from Yuqing Graceworks School will culminate their training program with an end-of-program fashion show, featuring dresses with brilliant fall colors, casual and elegant eveningwear ensembles.

Over 100 Xiamen University alumni from across the US attended the annual meeting with honor guest Vice President Zhan Xinli of Xiamen University.

    Boston, May 1, 2016, — More than 40,000 people came together on the Boston Common to make a powerful statement about hunger in Massachusetts today. In addition to the scenic 10-mile Walk course along the Charles River, this year the Walk for Hunger kicked off with a 5k timed race starting on the Boston Common.

  • Dream of the Red Chamber Concert — An Instant Classic in Pictures

    Lexington, Mass., April 12, 2016, — Just days before the Patriots’ Day, Dream of the Red Chamber concert took stage at Battin Hall just steps away from the Battle Green. You won’t hear any gunshots but wonderful Chinese traditional music and beautiful songs from the classic 1987 Chinese TV series The Dream of the Red Chamber. Over 1,500 music fans attended two concerts in the afternoon and evening on Sunday, April 10.

    Boston, Feb. 27, 2016, — This is Super Saturday before the Super Tuesday in Boston Chinatown. Over 1,000 people showed up at the Gee How Oak Tin Association of New England’s Chinese New Year banquet at Empire Garden and Hei La Moon restaurants, including many elected officials.
