We encourage everyone to participate, whether you play tennis or not is not as important, but we will use these opportunities to promote friendships, we will have picnic, tennis and games, and to connect with each other again!

  • Michael Chang Hopes “Linsanity” to Continue in Houston

    NEWPORT BEACH, California–Former world No. 2 tennis player Michael Chang, a professional who once carried the hope of his fellow Asian Americans, expressed the hope Sunday that “Linsanity” will continue after Jeremy Lin starts playing for the Houston Rockets.

    Before Jeremy Lin (林書豪), Chang (張德培) was perhaps the most famous American athlete of Chinese descent. After retiring from professional tennis, Chang has been involved in the training of several young tennis players.(CNA)

  • Elizabeth Wu from Canton Mass. Took Home Two Gold Medals in Taekwondo National Championships

    Boston – The American Taekwondo United(ATU) National Taekwondo Championships was held in Atlanta in June 2012. More than 800 contestants from all 50 states competed in this national tournament. Elizabeth Wu, a 13-year-old from Canton, Mass. won two championships in her age group by outperforming her peers. Behind the gold medals, flowers and applause, there were sweat and tears from this talented and stubborn girl.

  • World Renowned Shaolin Kung Fu To Be Performed at Lincoln Field on July 1

    The 35th generation Shaolin warrior monk, Master Heng Zhen from Shaolin Temple China, and his students from Boston Shaolin Kungfu Center in Quincy, will perform Shaolin Kung Fu at Lincoln Field of Lexington, Mass., at 3 PM on July 1. This event is free to all.

  • Massachusetts Celebrates Fenway Park’s 100th Anniversary

    (BOSTON – Thursday, April 19, 2012) Governor Deval Patrick, Senate President Therese Murray, House Speaker Robert A. DeLeo and Massachusetts legislators this week celebrated the 100th Anniversary of Fenway Park. A banner commemorating this milestone currently hangs on the front of the Massachusetts State House. Fenway Park hosted its first professional baseball game on April 20, 1912.

  • 2012 Boston Marathon Runners Battle High Temperatures

    The 116th running of Boston Marathon started on schedule despite unusual high temperatures on this Patriot’s Day of 2012. A pair of runners from Kenya Sharop Cherop and Wesley Korir won the women’s and men’s titles. Kenya runners dominated this year’s race, and took top three finishes in both woment’s and men’s races. Top US finisher is Jason Hartmann, fourth in men’s race.

    Just one day after the 100 year anniversary of sinking of Titanic in northern Atlantic, the early arrival of summer temperatures makes people wonder if there is still any icebergs in the sea where Titanic was hit 100 years ago.

    A couple miles from Boston Marathon’s finish line in front of Boston Public Library, Boston Red Sox was shut out by Tempa Bay Rays in the annual 11 O’clock Patriot’s Day game in Fenway Park. This year also marks the 100 year anniversary of Fenway Park.

    Overall, a tough day for Boston Marathon runners, hometown boys and any icebergs still hanging around in the Atlantic.

  • No Look Pass – A Sure Hit in Its Boston Premiere at Brattle Theatre

    In the evening of March 24, documentary film No Look Pass had its Boston area premiere at Brattle Theatre in Harvard Square. About 300 people, including many current and former Harvard Women’s Basketball team members, were on hand to welcome back director Melissa Johnson, a former lady Crimson.
