2014 IEEE Fellows Include Twenty from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan

Boston, Nov. 29, 2013, IEEE, the largest professional association for the advancement of technology in the world, announced the 2014 class of IEEE fellow just before the U.S. Thanksgiving Holiday this week. IEEE fellow is deemed as a prestigious distinction, reserved for IEEE members with extraordinary accomplishments.

The steady stream of new IEEE fellows from the greater China region over past few years reflects the continued success of education, R&D and investment in technology and engineering fields in the region. The following is a list of the 20 2014 IEEE fellows from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. There are also dozens of Chinese researchers who work overseas made to the list.
