Governor Elect Baker Attends Grand Opening of Top Bread Bakery

Boston, Dec. 19, 2014, — As the holiday season arrives, elected officials have frequented Boston Chinatown to join the festivities. Governor Elect Charles Baker and State Senator Anthony Petruccelli attended the grand opening of Top Bread Bakery on Dec. 11. Mayor Walsh was in Chinatown a week earlier for the tree lighting event.

Located on Harrison Ave, Top Bread bakery features bright store front and some creative and delicious cakes. Wendong Chen, owner of Top Bread Bakery, was grateful for Governor Elect Baker and Senator Petruccelli for attending the grand opening ceremony.


Mayor Walsh attended his first trolley tour in Boston Chinatown earlier this month. Volunteers of Chinatown Main Street and dozens of visitors joined the ceremony. A number of public officials who represent Chinatown also brought holiday greetings to residents and businesses of Chinatown, including State Rep. Michelwitz, Boston City Council president Linehan and Councillor At-large Flaherty.
