The large number of Asian immigrants working in the high tech companies living in Acton and Boxborough is one of the reasons that STEM education has been in focus by teachers and parents in Acton-Boxborough school district.
EMCC is a middle-school annual math competition held at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. The AB team topped more than 40 teams from across the region and from far-flung places including Ohio and China. Among the participating teams included traditional powerhouses from Lexington.
