Faculty Club, presented by Chinese-American BioMedical Association (CABA) and Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association, USA (CBA). BIO 2012 is one of the most important conferences in the biopharmaceutical industry, and attracts more than 15,000 attendees from around the world.

    Come celebrate the 33rd Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival on Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. – 5 p.m. Spectators will be able to watch brightly colored dragon boats, piloted by paddlers from Greater Boston, Rhode Island, Vermont, New York, Philadelphia, California, and Montreal, Canada as they race down the Charles River between JFK Street and the Western Avenue Bridge. While races start in the morning, cultural programs will begin at 12 Noon. All programs are free and family friendly for visitors.

  • Focal Chinese Music To Re-Open Melrose’s 116-year-old Corinthian Hall

    MELROSE, MA – Starting June 10, 2012, Focal Chinese Music Corp. (FCM), a music education and performing arts company will re-open and manage Melrose’s 116-year-old Corinthian Hall. Currently owned by Melrosian Stephen Longmuir, Corinthian Hall, with its 1900s interior preserved and restored, will serve as FCM’s headquarters.

  • GBAAYSO To Present The Bufferfly Lover Concert at Lexington High on June 16

    After the first public concert at National Heritage Museum in Lexington, Mass. in December 2011, the Asian Cultural Center Greater Boston Asian-American Youth Symphony Orchestra (GBAAYSO) has been active in local communities. A number of charity concerts have been presented by GBAAYSO at senior centers and other venues in Lexington and Waltham, including a Food for Music concert in Lexington on April 15 that raised about $2,000 for Lexington Food Bank.
