  • The 17th Harvard China Forum Opens with Entertaining Speech by Kevin Rudd

    Cambridge, Mass., April 19, 2014, — The 17th Harvard China Forum(HCF) opened with a welcome ceremony in the evening of April 18 at Charles Hotel in Harvard Square. About 500 attendees packed the large ballroom to listen to speeches by former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, China Entrepreneurs Forum president Tian Yuan, and Taikang Life Insurance’s Duan Guosheng. The three-day conference is one of the largest China focused conferences in the US.

  • Harvard China Night 2013 Discusses China’s New Reforms

    Cambridge, Mass., Nov. 8, 2013, — Harvard China Night 2013 was held at Harvard University Kennedy School of Government (HKS) at the evening of Nov. 1, 2013. This year’s theme is “China’s Next Ten Years: Business as (Un)usual”. Three distinguished guests: Dr. Gao Jian, Dr. Zhang Yujun and Prof. John A. Quelch delivered keynote speeches. Traditional Chinese cultural performances won loud applause from hundreds of attendees. This event was organized by HKS China Students and Scholars Association (CSSA).

  • Dr. Hangming Yang Receives Distinguished Career in Science Award at 2013 Bridge Medical Summit

    Nov. 8, 2013, — Started two years ago by doctors and researchers at American Chinese Medical Association (ACMA), Bridge Medical Summit (BMS) has become a new Fall tradition in Boston’s medical district. This year’s BMS has been successfully held at Boston Children’s Hospital on Oct. 26. With focuses on Medical Education, Cancer Prevention & Screening, Genetics and Proteomics as well as Healthcare Issues in the US and China, BMS III has interpreted complicated medical language into presentations and speeches that could be understood by the public.

  • Dr. Yu-lan Lin Receives NECLTA’s Lifetime Achievement Award

    Rode Island, October 9, 2013, — At the second annual meeting of NECLTA on Oct. 5 at URI Confucius Institute, Dr. Yu-lan Lin received the NECLTA’s Lifetime Achievement Award from president Wenchao He. Dr. Lin has retired from Boston Public Schools this year. Many teachers at the annual meeting took the opportunity to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Lin for her tireless dedication to the field. Dr. Lin is a founding board member of NECLTA.
