  • Meeting Friends at the 37th NEACP Annual Conference

    Nov. 2, 2014, — Yesterday, we had our 37th New England Association of Chinese Professionals (NEACP) Annual Conference in Harvard University Yenching Library. All the speakers were great. Some topics were out of reach for me and you learn something new every day. We had about 80 to 100 people for the day at the competence and about 40 people for dinner.

  • Prof. Guoping Zhang Invited to Speak at Global Diaspora Forum in Harvard University

  • Eighteen Scientists and Innovators to Be Honored by President Obama

    Washington, D.C., Oct. 3, 2014, –President Obama today announced a new class of recipients of the National Medal of Science and National Medal of Technology and Innovation—our Nation’s highest honors for achievement and leadership in advancing the fields of science and technology. The new awardees will receive their medals at a White House ceremony later this year.

  • “Media Literacy and Youth Leadership” Seminar Successly Held at Harvard University

    Cambridge, Mass., September 2, 2014, Global Youth Leadership North American Hub(GYLNAH) held “Media Literacy and Youth Leadership” seminar at Harvard Yenching Library on August 27. The speaker, Paul Mihailidis, who is the President of Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change, an Assistant Professor from Emerson College, gave a keynote speech of Media Literacy As Civic Currency. Gang Wu, a visiting scholar of Harvard University and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Chinese National Radio Online made comments as guest speaker. The Seminar was host by Zhang Tong, the Minister of Publicity of Global Youth Leadership North America Hub, and also an Emerson College visiting scholar. About 40 students and visiting scholars from Harvard University, MIT, University of British Columbia, Canada, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Nankai University participated in the seminar.

  • Delegation from Sichuan Held Info Session at Harvard University

    Boston, Sept. 5, 2014, — A delegation headed by Mr. Fan Ruiping from Sichuan province, China held a meeting at Harvard University Faculty Club on September 3. Dozens of Harvard professors, students, local entrepreneurs and professionals attended the meeting.

    Cambridge, Mass., August 15, 2014, Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman of Google, gave a talk at Harvard Kennedy School of Government (HKS) in May 2014. He discussed his views on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship with moderator CNN’s David Gergen. Mr. Gang Wu, a visiting scholar at HKS, asked Eric Schmidt about how Google would protect privacy of its users.
