Robbery & Larceny in Chinatown (two incidents)

On Tuesday, 04/02/2013, Boston Police District A-1 Police Officers filed a police report for the victim who is a middle aged Asian woman who speaks only Mandarin. The victim stated that she was approached by three Asian female suspects who stated that they needed money to help the victim’s sick daughter. The victim believed the suspects. She went to the bank and withdrew an undisclosed amount of money and gave the money to the suspects. The victim then became disoriented as the suspects left the area. All three Asian female suspects were described as being from early to late thirties in age, black hair, brown eyes, five feet to five feet 2 inches tall with slim builds. There was no clothing description given. |
| After drinking the coffee, the victim felt light headed and dizzy. She then walked back to her residence by herself. At her residence, she filled a brown purse type bag with her jewelry. She then left her residence and met the suspects at Oak Street and Tremont Street. The victim handed over her jewelry in the bag to the suspects in exchange for a red shopping bag which was filled with miscellaneous items. The victim then states she was given another bag by the suspects. The suspects then directed the victim to walk towards the Boston Common and to not look back towards them. The victim has not seen the suspects again. |
