Boston, Oct. 17, 2016, — The 20th Anniversary Celebration of Century Chinese Language School (CCLS) was hold on Oct 15 at Fuller Middle School in Framingham. About 400 students, teachers and parents enjoyed an evening of cultural performances and even a fashion show.
Counselors Wang Liyu and Wang Jun from Chinese Consulate General in New York City attended the celebration. They congratulated the countless achievements that teachers and students of CCLS have achieved over the past 20 years in Chinese language learning and in promoting traditional Chinese culture in the greater Boston area.
Renowned conductor Wanjun Qiao and the North American Chorus Associations performed a few beautiful songs for the audience. Ms. Kai Tao of Cambridge Center for Chinese Culture (CCCC) delivered a congratulatory speech for the 20th Anniversary of CCLS.
Ms. Na Li, Chairwoman of the CCLS board, thanked the hard work by many volunteers for putting this event together. She also recalled the ups and downs of CCLS over the past 20 years in her speech, and believed that the future of CCLS would be much more bright in the next 10 years.
