Life science field is a major growth area of Massachusetts economy. Contributions from Chinese American scientists and doctors to the life science field in the greater Boston area have been well-recognized by leaders in the field and by government officials.

Only three weeks after Boston BioForum, organized by Chinese-American BioMedical Association (CABA), another major conference in life sciences field will take place on April 28 at Harvard Medical School. It will showcase the latest advances and discoveries in the life science field, and provoke meaningful discussions in the public health polices in both the US and China.

Third annual Harvard Life Science Symposium is organized by Harvard Medical School-Chinese Scholars & Scientists Association(HMS-CSSA), and co-organized by Harvard School of Public Health Chinese Students & Scholars Association(HSPH-CSSA) and American Chinese Medical Association(ACMA). The goal of the symposium is to showcase the significant contributions made by Chinese scientists in life science field, and build bridges of cooperation and exchange between Chinese scholars.

According to prepared materials from the organizers, this year’s symposium will cover three major areas: the academic research, public health policy, as well as industrialization of biomedical science and technology. Conference speakers include leading scientists, doctors, government officials and entrepreneurs.
