Lincoln, Mass., July 17, 2015, — Fifteen beautiful Chinese brush painting by Catherine Tan Chan is on exhibition at Lincoln Public Library until end of this month.

Ms. Chan is an art teach at Newton Chinese Language School for over 30 years. She has taught hundreds of children and adult students the art of Chinese brush painting. Two of her adult students made the trip to the exhibition on the opening day on June 29. They congratulated their teacher for the wonderful artwork on display, and discussed details of each painting.
“I painted most of the 15 paintings over the past winter when the snow piled up around my house,” said Ms. Chan with a smile. This is her third exhibition at Lincoln Public Library. Ms. Chan is the founder of Foundation for Chinese Performance Arts, which holds annual Chinese painting and calligraphy US national contest for students.

Wednesday: 9 am – 8:30 pm
Thursday: 9 am – 6 pm
Friday: 9 am – 6 pm
Lincoln Public Library is closed on Saturday and Sunday during July and August.
