史际平，清华大学1978级精仪于2009年11月
1936级校友李诗颖教授（1940土木）是一位对母校清华怀有深厚感情的老学长。李老1942年留美，1945年获MIT(麻省理工学院)博士，毕业后在MIT由助教干起直至正教授，并于1985年入选美国工程院院士。能有幸与李老相识，还是经过好友杨嘉实（1977级力学，现于美国大学任教）的介绍。嘉实兄的父亲杨式德教授（1940土木）与李诗颖教授为同班同学，在我与嘉实兄合作编辑《家在清华》（山东画报出版社2008年4月出版）一书时他曾经借给我一部李老的英文自传《An Autobiography — China to MIT to Setra Systems》(非正式出版，2007)，读后我对李老本人及其家人传奇般的经历印象非常深刻。

Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association (GBCCA) Chinese Music Ensembles annual concert titled Spring was held at Casey Theatre, Regis College in Weston, Mass. on May 12. More than 400 Chinese music lovers enjoyed an evening of beautiful traditional and innovative Chinese music by talented young students and their teachers.

对于侨居海外的侨胞来说，祖国发生的各种事情都牵动着他们的心，而每周阅读《侨报周末》则是他们获取来自祖国新闻的主要途径。波士顿地区知名书画家江天源老先生就是这样一位心系祖国的侨胞，他于1992年从广州移民来美国，是《侨报周末》的忠实读者。

【侨报周末特约记者李强报道】5月8日晚6点半，前波士顿华埠昆士小学校长李素影（Suzanne Lee），为再次竞选波士顿市议会第2选区议员，在波士顿富兰克林学院礼堂举行了竞选启动集会。200多名支持者在醒狮劲舞的锣鼓声中为李素影的竞选造势，不少人还当场为竞选捐款。

Boston, MA – Today, the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA) received the Greenovate Award for their work on created access to weatherization jobs and services for the Chinese American community in Boston. CPA helped over a 100 residents receive energy efficiency services and helped employ Chinese Americans as weatherization technicians to insulate and air seal people’s homes.

Westwood, Mass. — On May 11, 2013 at 7:30 PM, Westwood Chinese Culture Association and Westwood Chinese School hosted the 6th Annual Westwood Chinese Cultural Night in the Westwood High School auditorium. About 500 people packed the auditorium and enjoyed a night full of wonderful music, dance, opera, kungfu and other Chinese cultural performances.
