Boston, April 2, 2017, — The Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center and the Chinese Progressive Association celebrated the graduation of their fourth class of the Pre-Vocational Skills with ESOL for Retail Employment training program recently. Nine students graduated, with three having already begun work in their new customer service positions.

Boston-based Startup’s Trademark Application Opposed by Chinese Internet Giant Tencent

It came as astonishment to Mr. Mo, founder of Dinnnerful.com and his business partners that their trademark application was opposed by Tencent, a Chinese internet tycoon. Mo couldn’t believe it as the submitted trademarks are in different language as Tencent’s and the two companies run totally different businesses.

Rachel Skerritt Named Headmaster of Boston Latin School
Boston, March 23, 2017 – Boston Public Schools (BPS) Superintendent Tommy Chang announced today that he has chosen veteran school leader and former BPS chief of staff, Rachel Skerritt, as Boston Latin School’s 28th headmaster. Ms. Skerritt, who graduated from Boston Latin School (BLS) in 1995 and taught English at her alma mater, will become the first person of color and the third woman to lead the institution in its 382-year-history.

Fans cheered loudly as flows of Patriots coaches and players passed by on duck boats. Tom Brady, the MVP of Superbowl LI, thanked fans for their support. “We want six. We want six.” fans cheered loudly.

Life in Alternative Medicine in the USA

We graduated from a historically well-known medical school, where we made great efforts in studying modern medical sciences and clinical diagnostic/treatment skills. Naturally, once we made decision to practice medicine in the USA, every single one of our alumni would aim at the Western medicine path. And the record of our overseas alumni during the past 10 – 20 years has proven that our medical training at Xiangya is solid and well-done. The Xiangya’s education has nurtured so many outstanding clinicians in the US.

Four MIT Students Named Schwarzman Scholars, Will Study at Tsinghua University

From MIT NewsThree undergraduate and one graduate student from MIT have been selected as Schwarzman Scholars. They are among the 129 members of the program’s class of 2018, who will pursue a year of study and leadership training at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
MIT’s four students — Alix de Monts ’14, Lisa Ho, Anita Liu, and Melody Liu — will study public policy, economics and business, and international studies, and spend a year immersed in an international community of thinkers, innovators, and senior leaders in business, politics, and society. Expenses for each scholar are fully funded by the program, which is housed at Tsinghua University.
